About
Everyone has their story who makes who they are and I look forward to hearing about yours. I look forward to figuring out who you are at your core as a person and helping you figuring out who you are as a person in this world. I like identity when it comes to mental health and all the aspects which identity has to do with our mental health as people. Who we are determines what we do and what decisions we make. I am happy to help you with issues you might be having with figuring out who you are and making some goals within that. We all deal with our daily stressors, large or small. These events which happen in our lives which can potentially spur depression or anxiety among other aspects can be seen as a challenge. I want to help you see the positive within that and see how it is ultimately helping towards our overall identity and who we are as people.

I see mental health as life. I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication and now am earning to be a licensed mental health counselor in North Carolina. I like to approach clients from a person-centered perspective in a client-centered counseling approach. Cognitive-Behavioral approaches also help greatly and we might utilize those as well. Ultimately, at Compassion Counseling Center, we often approach things from a biblical perspective and am happy to approach any issues pertaining to spirituality, existential or even philosophy within your life. It is about you as the client at the end of the day.

Thank you for welcoming me to Compassion in my first semester as a intern and am eager to develop my own identity as a counselor along with helping you with yours. We will strive for the best possible outcome.
